Description
Trees with red and orange foliage were quite common throughout Canaan Valley on October 8, 2006, as photographed from on top of Bald Knob in the Canaan Valley Ski Resort. Canaan Valley is the highest valley in the eastern United States with an elevation in excess of over 3200 feet. You'd have to travel far north into Canada to experience the kind of vegetation found in this area.
