Description
Possibly the longest of the covered bridges in Somerset County is the Barronvale Covered Bridge that spans the wide mouthed Laurel Hill Creek. The bridge was originally built in 1830 and lies in a quiet village just east of Laurel Ridge. This photograph wasn't the angle I desired but was necessary to hide some construction vehicles that were parked on the other side.
