Spearhead Mesa Between Stinging Gusts of Dust

Pictured are the slopes and cliffs of Spearhead Mesa in the Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park. When out of the car taking this picture, an extremely strong gust of wind caught me by surprise with the longest 30 seconds of my life while I felt sandblasted. The stinging feeling had me more attentive for the other dust plumes blowing across the desert floor.
