Valley Stream Flowing Below the San Juan Mountains

Flowing across a valley surrounded by the San Juan Mountains, is a tributary of the San Juan River. Nearby Route 160 rises over 10,000 feet to clear the mountains, where patches of snow were plainly seen on this June day. The pine forest in the background of the picture is part of the San Juan National Forest.
