Description
Scene captured in the Observatory Hill Neighborhood of Pittsburgh following a heavy snowfall of just over 6 inches. The local Pittsburgh TV weathermen, infamous for underestimating snowfalls, called for 0-2 inches while the snow was already falling! Hopefully people listened to the National Weather Service instead, otherwise they may have been one of the eight fatalities this beautiful storm caused in the area. The snowstorm occurred on January 5, 2002.
