Trees Dwarfed by Falcon Cliff on North Fork Mountain
Autumn foliage decorates the slope leading up to the base of Falcon Cliff on the top of North Fork Mountain in the high country of West Virginia. The rock and cliff formations are several hundred feet tall in places and run along the top of the ridge like a long spine making North Fork Mountain one of the most unique I've ever hiked in the eastern United States. The trees appear as miniatures compared to the scale of the rock.
