Setting October Sun Cast Against Pittsburgh's 7th Street Bridge

No better conditions exist for outdoor photography, at least in Pennsylvania, than in October. The low angled sun is enough to make almost any picture a keeper, and yet the foliage is still alive and well despite the sun being just as low as it is in late February. Featured is a scene taken along Pittsburgh's North Shore and looking towards a portion of the skyline with the 7th Street Bridge, now called the Andy Warhol Bridge, lit warmly by the rays of setting sun. The city was engulfed in haze thanks to an unusually warm high pressure system that kept air movement to a minimum, but may have contributed to the photograph's warm color tones.
