Laurel Ridge Slopes with May Spring Foliage
Picture taken from Baughman Rock Overlook in Ohiopyle State Park while focusing on a portion of Laurel Ridge where a series of slopes protrude out separated by gorges carved by streams that cascade down from the ridge's 2800+ foot top to the Youghiogheny River base that is around 1100 feet in elevation in this area. The most distant ridge is actually the highest in elevation and less mature spring foliage can be seen on it compared to the vibrant green in the rise nearest the overlook.
