Kentuck Knob Overlook with Spring Foliage
Ohiopyle State Park's Kentuck Knob Overlook is pictured featuring a distant view of Laurel Ridge and a small portion of the Youghiogheny River as taken with a variety of spring foliage in early May. The spring foliage in this scene encompasses the red buds, yellow young shoots, lime green leaves, before becoming the mature darker green leaves. For a few weeks in spring the forest has a rich range of color sometimes rivaling autumn.
