Hereford Manor Lake Fall Color

Fall color is reflected in the waters of Lower Hereford Manor Lake shortly after sunset in eastern Beaver County, Pennsylvania on October 25, 2009. Hereford Manor was enjoying the peak of autumn color when I visited it and spent four hours photographing and hiking the trails around its picturesque lakes. A purple and pink sky following the setting of the sun added an unusual hue to this picture, and nearly calm winds aided in an almost perfect reflection of the hardwood trees aflame with autumn color.
