Fallen Moss Covered Log with Tree Trunk
Hiking in Forbes State Forest and along a maintenance road for gas wells on top of Chestnut Ridge in South Union Township I stumbled across this small but interesting scene of a moss covered log with a large hardwood tree still standing in the background. Freshly fallen autumn leaves partially covered the log. The gas well maintenance roads slope down from the ridge's summit all along Skyline Drive above Uniontown, PA.
