Eastern White Pines Bearing Heavy Wet Snow

Eastern White Pines Bearing Heavy Wet Snow

Pictured is a sun backlit twenty-two inches of fresh snow weighing down the branches of Eastern White Pines following the Snowapocalypse in early February 2010. The local meteorologists only expected up to six inches but Mother Nature left almost four times that amount in a single night. A few days later a weaker system contributed another eleven inches of snow.
