Dew Covered Goldenrod with a Foggy Sunrise

Dew Covered Goldenrod with a Foggy Sunrise

An eerie golden colored scene of a rising sun veiled by fog behind flowers of Goldenrod that were dripping wet with the morning dew gives this picture a kind of artistic flair. While the Goldenrod is a prized flower in English gardens its usually treated as a weed here in the United States as it can be found flowering in any untended field or meadow at the end of summer. It often grows over six feet tall and often lines pathways through just about any meadow. Picture was taken at a meadow near some woods at Graham Park in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania.
