Casparis Overlook's View of Youghiogheny River Island
An evening photograph taken from a cliff known as the Casparis Overlook or Lookout Point on a shoulder of Chestnut Ridge that's zoomed into a distant scene featuring a small island lit up by the sun while the nearest shore is in shadow from the looming ridge above. This is one of the deepest areas of the Youghiogheny River Gorge where depths exceed 1200 feet in a near horizontal descent from the top of Chestnut Ridge above.
