Wildflowers at Letchworth's Middle Genesee Falls

Wildflowers at Letchworth's Middle Genesee Falls

Goldenrods and other wildflowers can be seen before the crashing waters of the Genesee River tumbling 105 feet at Middle Falls. Pictured is a tiny portion of the falls, but one of the more interesting as some large rock ledges interrupt the continuous flow of water adding some visual interest. Picture was taken towards evening along Letchworth State Park's Gorge Trail near the Glen Iris Inn. This waterfall particularly reminded me of Niagara Falls and features an enormous mist cloud that spawns numerous rainbows.
