Cape Disappointment Light Overlooking Columbia River

A summer evening picture of the Cape Disappointment Light on a tall bluff overlooking the mouth of the Columbia River as it empties into the Pacific Ocean taken from a state park in southwestern most Washington State. In the distance can be seen coastal mountains near Astoria, Oregon and a man made breaker dividing the water. This bluff gets the full brunt storms from the Pacific leading to the stunted and misshaped vegetation.
