Pemetic Mountain Trail Markers Overlooking the Atlantic
The bald granite top of Pemetic Mountain with rock trail markers can be seen with a sweeping view of Acadia National Park's coastline and islands in the Atlantic Ocean making up the background. Hiking up the Pemetic Mountain Trail from Jordan Pond begins in a forest of spruce that eventually yields to the bald rocky top for the upper fourth of the mountain top.
