Oblong Eagle Lake from Pemetic Mountain Summit
Eagle Lake is pictured as viewed from the bald summit of Pemetic Mountain within Acadia National Park, Maine. Picture was taken around noon in late July at about a 1200 foot elevation. Eagle Lake is one of several glacier carved bodies of fresh water on Mount Desert Island.
