Oak Creek Canyon Vista South of Flagstaff
Oak Creek Canyon Vista sits at the edge of the Colorado Plateau not far south of Flagstaff, Arizona along Route 89A and offers a gorgeous view of the Oak Creek Canyon that leads down towards the Red Rock country of Sedona, Arizona. The winding road of 89A can be seen in the right side of the picture and far off on the left side is Munds Mountain. The scenic overlook is over 6400 feet in elevation and considerably cooler and wetter than Sedona, Arizona a short 16 mile drive away that is around 4200 feet in elevation.
