Munds Mountain and Morning Light From Schnebly Hill Road

Munds Mountain's six thousand plus feet is seen prominently in the left side of the picture with a far off view of Mingus Mountain that towers over Jerome, Arizona in the distance. It's peak is lit by the morning sun while the valley still remains in shadow of the Mogollon Rim. Picture was taken from a high point on Schnebly Hill Road, perhaps one of the most scenic roads in the nation. Munds Mountain's Coconino Sanstone is lit a beautiful gold by the morning rays of sunshine and leads down to the Camel Head and Snoopy Rock feature that acts as a wall in this picture.
