Mount Lemmon Aspen Vista's View East
A dead Ponderosa Pine tree still standing five years after the damaging Aspen fire that ravaged Summerhaven, Arizona in 2003 divides this incredible view from Mount Lemmon near the Aspen Vista. Photograph was taken at an elevation nearly 8000 feet high and looking down on the San Manuel Valley that drops to 2800 feet along the San Pedro River. The distant snow capped peaks are the Galiuro Mountains that are roughly fifty miles east of Mount Lemmon.
