Laurel Hill Lake's Evening Reflection of Autumn Foliage

Photograph taken from some muddy flats along the lake's shore south of the boating launch area where stepping on old logs are often necessary to keep from sinking into mud and looking out towards the eastern shore that is lit beautifully by the sun's last moments of light before it sinks behind Laurel Ridge to the west. The low shrubs and weeds growing on the mud flats offer a purple offset to the rich colors.
