Description
When this photograph was taken, night to the naked eye had already greeted the golden triangle of Pittsburgh, but a 60 second exposure defied the darkened conditions and gathered enough light from an already set sun to make the picture appear as if it were taken at dusk. Picture is looking past some overgrown trees on Mount Washington toward the large Point State Park Fountain that was colored purple for a rowing competition, at the forks of the Ohio with the skyscrapers of downtown Pittsburgh in the background.
Subjects featured: Point State Park; Pittsburgh's Golden Triangle; Point State Park Fountain; Forks of the Ohio; Three Rivers; Monongahela River; Allegheny River; U.S. Steel Tower; Downtown Pittsburgh; 7th Street Bridge; 9th Street Bridge; 6th Street Bridge; Ohio River;
