Large River Rocks and a Train Along the Youghiogheny

Sometimes simple luck lines up great possibilities for photography for just as I was returning from a long ride on the Youghiogheny River Trail, a train's brakes could be heard across the river and I was delighted to see it and its gondolas filled with coal parked in an opportune spot for some photography. This photo captures the large river rocks and the river in shadow while the train and the hillside above it in fall foliage are lit by an evening sun's warm glow. The unusually calm river, in shadow, mirrors whatever light hits it beautifully.
