Overlook's Bench Halfway Between Connellsville and Ohiopyle

Pictured is a bench that is in shadow before a majestic display of autumn foliage lit warmly by a setting sun's last light. This scene is played out roughly 10 miles from Connellsville and to be here at this time meant a dark bike ride back to my car. The small scenic overlook is a welcome respite from the mostly shaded Youghiogheny River Trail, with the trail emerging into the sunny opening for a short distance here.
