Description
A peninsula in the Youghiogheny River is back dropped by the heights of Chestnut Ridge rising over twelve hundred feet above the river, though only the bottom five hundred feet or so can be seen — the rest obscured by the bottom slopes of the ridge. An impressive amount of fall foliage can be found here yet just a few miles down the river toward Connellsville, the foliage is almost entirely green.
