The Palisade Fort at Historic Hannah's Town

May sunshine enlivens the deep green color of ivy clinging to the Palisade Fort replica at Hannah's Town Historical site near Greensburg, Pennsylvania. Hannah's Town was the county seat of Westmoreland County, which included all of Southwestern Pennsylvania at that time, until 1782 when a party of British Rangers and Indians burned the town and took captives back with them.
