Pictured is a view looking across some large rocks in the Youghiogheny River towards Ferncliff Peninsula. Small two or three foot waterfalls are quite common in this portion of the river, roughly three hundred yards downstream from the twenty-foot Great Falls of Ohiopyle. Photograph was taken early in the morning of October 22, 2002, by this day of October in the previous two years the trees were past peak with brilliant autumn color.
