Ohiopyle Falls on the Youghiogheny River at Sunset

A wall of fall foliage on Ferncliff Peninsula provides the backdrop for this picture taken at sunset from a rock ledge that jets out into the Youghiogheny River of the Ohiopyle Falls. The river is reflecting the golden hue of a beautiful sunset sky. I utilized a 200 millimeter lens to make this close up view of the falls possible from a distance downstream. River rafters and kayakers take to the Yough, as the river is often referred, just below this twenty five foot waterfall.
