Wildwood Covered Bridge with Fresh Spring Greenery
The Wildwood Covered Bridge is seen in the distance with a long curvy wooden deck leading the way to it as it crosses over the Ottawa River in Toledo, Ohio. The forest surrounding the bridge's fresh green leaves of late May are beautifully saturated on this cloudy spring day. This covered bridge isn't a preserved relic of the past, but a fairly young landmark within the Wildwood Preserve Metropark. That detail doesn't dissuade its many visitors from walking to it.
