Rhododendron Flower Bud at Wildwood Preserve Metropark

Yes, another photograph of a Rhododendron Flower Bud but this time not taken in the mountains of West Virginia or Pennsylvania, but the flat lands of Northwest Ohio. While Toledo, Ohio may be one of the most financially depressed cities in the country their residents can still enjoy a park system that is simply outstanding. Beautiful gardens are scattered about their Metroparks that the city of Pittsburgh (near my home) lacks completely. Picture was taken at the Wildwood Manor House Garden in late May of 2011.
