Ottawa River's Spring Flooding of Woodlands
Some hardwood trees can be seen flooded by water from the Ottawa River from the boardwalk along the appropriately named Floodplain Trail in Wildwood Preserve Metropark in Toledo, Ohio. Severe flooding plagued many parts of northwest Ohio during the last part of May due to relentless rains.
