Schnebly Hill Road Scenery Above Mitten Ridge
This scene taken from Schnebly Hill Road features many Sedona, Arizona landmarks including the Capitol Butte (top center) that is apart of Thunder Mountain, the southwestern shoulder of Wilson Mountain (upper right), Steamboat Rock (partially obscured by shadow) and numerous other stone monoliths of red rock capped by a white layer. Getting to this point along the road required a five mile rough drive and an additional three mile hike. The phenomenal view made it worthwhile! Additionally, in the foreground is a portion of Mitten Ridge.
