Parker Canyon's View of Roosevelt Lake
Looking past a stand of Juniper on the western slopes of the Sierra Ancha Range is this scene of Roosevelt Lake and the distant desert mountains as seen through a window in Parker Canyon. The impressive rock cliffs of Parker Canyon are sided with 1250 feet of orange and red speckled rock. I discovered these cliffs and the Sierra Ancha Mountains while touring the Tonto National Monument on the opposite end of the valley.
