Mini Mesa Vortex Vista's View of Mogollon Rim
Unsettled weather develops over Lee Mountain and Munds Mountain apart of the Mogollon Rim, as seen from the Mini Mesa Vortex Vista. The red Schnebly Hill Sandstone capped by the whitish Coconino Sandstone is what makes the scenery in Sedona so attractive and picturesque. This is just one of the scenes visible from along the Airport Mesa Loop Trail. Picture was taken shortly before sunset helping to cast a warm light on the rock.
