Goat Mountain of the Mazatzal Mountains and Painted Cliffs
A picture taken from the Salt River Valley looking upwards towards the heights of Four Peaks Mountain embroiled in stormy weather while the lower elevations experience only sunshine on this mid February day. Goat Mountain is in the upper right with the Painted Cliffs featured prominently in the center of the photograph. A slope of Saguaro Cactus and other Sonoran Desert plants is spread out until the waters of Apache Lake in the lower right.
