Flat Iron on Superstition Mountain in Evening
Pictured is the 4860 foot tall mountain peak known as Flat Iron on top of Superstition Mountain illuminated nicely by an evening sun with Saguaro Cacti in the foreground along with the green vegetation of the upper Sonoran Desert. Picture was taken in mid February when the warm desert in the Phoenix area receives occasional rain showers making the landscape surprisingly green for a desert.
