Descent into Verde Valley from Mingus Mountain
An evening sun lights up the Verde Valley, Mogollon Rim above Sedona, in the distance and the Mingus Mountain's walls of rock of from an overlook off of Arizona Route 89A as the road descends down to Jerome, Arizona. From this height even the towering and massive Cathedral Rock in Sedona (near the left edge in the middle) is reduced to a tiny feature that barely stands out from the surrounding terrain. Route 89A descends into Jerome via Hull Canyon.
